I have an idea to make a bowl of cherries cake.
I'm brand new at this, not much experience.
Anyway, hope to enter it at the fair next year if I can perfect it.
Think I've figured out how to make the bowl, and the cherries can be marzipan. But not sure how to make the cherry stems. Thanks, Doleta

You could color marzipan green and roll very thin stems, attach with corn syrup to the cherries. Or you could pipe them of royal icing and attach when dried.

how about cloves...not good to eat but would look lots like a stem.
