I have a wedding cake to do in September and the bride has changed her mind about using fondant but does not want regular buttercream. She wants a marbled white and chocolate cake with kahlua filling. Any suggestions on a frosting that would go good with this combo??

I would use Italian Meringue Buttercream (the recipe is here on c.c.) and then flavor it with white chocolate (it's not going to be white because of the butter in there). So you could try that.

I have not tried the IMBC yet. Is it less sweet than the traditional b/c? Traditional b/c is to sweet for her.

IMBC is less sweet-a little lighter on the palate.
