My fondant? it wont make shapes and keep them....its way to soft or something and aint holding shape..what do i need to add or not add? it keeps floppin

you need to add gumtex/tylose/cmc to turn fondant into modelling paste. Plain fondant is way too soft for modelling.

I use 100g fondant + 5ml tylose, but you need to experiment to find a combo that you like

I added 1 tsp gum tragacanth to 1 lb of fondant and had a great medium for modeling figures, and making flowers. I dried them in a cold oven with the light on and they dried within a few hours.

Where do i find gumtex/tylose/cmc and gum tragacanth??

You can find gum-tex at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. It is from Wilton.

Tylose, CMC or Gum Trag can be found online or at cake supply stores.

You can also mix some gumpaste in with your fondant to help it hold the shape better.
