Hello cookie makers!

I'm so glad to see so many new people participating. The cookies being posted are really, really great!!

In looking toward next month... any ideas or suggestions for the cookie club theme for the month of October?

Might be a good time to do something pink since it is also Breast Cancer Awareness month!

I love Halloween/fall too!!

Halloween, Fall, etc.

I like the idea of pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I also want everyone to be aware that October is also Lupus Awareness Month, so I encourage purple themed cookies for this cause.

I have been wanting to join in on the fun for a while now. I think with my kids in school now, I will have some spare time on my hands to participate (fingers crossed).

My vote would be for a fall or Halloween.

Jstritt...I am so happy you said something about lupus awareness month. I was just about to say that! I am 29 and have had lupus since I was 17. This is definitely a theme I'd go for!

Since there are so many great causes out there that could always use our help (Breast Cancer, Lupus, Aids, Autisum, etc) how about a Cookies For A Cause theme?

I've been a member here for a few months but haven't participated in the cookies of the month thing. What's it all about? Is there info about it somewhere? I love baking cookies and think fall and Halloween are good but I also really like the COOKIES WITH A CAUSE idea, too. You all decide !!

I made some cookies for the Septmeber theme and could not figure out how to download them! icon_redface.gif I vote for Cookies for a Cause, and promise to figure that darn camera out this month!

I think we should do fall or halloween themed cookies. Since most of us will be doing these already I think that would be the easiest.

Hi everyone,
I wasn't able to make my cookies last month. Hopefully by this month I have gotten the hang of going back to work and can have some time for myself, after I put the kiddies to bed, and make some cookies. October is also Hispanic Heritage Month, so I'm sure that could be incorporated into something.
