How Much Cake Batter????

I just got an order for my first paid cake. Woo Hoo!! I'm making a half sheet cake. How many box cake mixes does that pan hold?? Can I use the extender and make it on one mix??

That depends on what pan you are using.

For me, 1/2 sheet = two 9x13's.

If you go on the Wilton website under Wedding cakes there is a chart that tells you how much batter to use for the size of you pan.

I just got done doing a half sheet cake I did two of the same flavor box mixes & it worked perfectly! Good luck!!!

I would use two mixes and maybe one extender
