Can you all give me some tips and advice on what to do for my very first bridal taste testing? The bride gave me these flavors to do:

Flavors:
White Almond Sr. Cream Cake
Butter Yellow Cake
Italina Cream Cake
Fillings:

Chocolate BC
Choc. ganache

Icings:
Van. BC
cream cheese

Also, she wants to do the tasting this October. My family is really into halloween. So the house will be decorated that way. Is that totally tacky? I don't want to take everything down, that is a lot. Besides my family is more important than a bride tasting. I'm not guaranteed the job, ya know. But I don't want to scare her away...LITERALLY!

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Why not suggest to bring the taste testing to them - to make it "easier on them" - or you could meet up at a coffee shop or somewhere that wouldn't mind you bringing in your cakes for the tasting. Good luck!

I don't give them a choice. I offer one cake flavor & my buttercream frosting. Sounds like they are getting a ton of cake to taste!
