I would like to add pudding to my cake batter. I know that it calls for box of pudding + one egg. But I use this recipe:

box mix
1/4 c. veg. oil
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. meringue powder

So do I still add an extra egg to make a total of 5 eggs in my batter? Or just stick w/4 eggs and the box of pudding?

TIA

I would go with 4 eggs and box of pudding mix. I think 5 eggs is too many.
