Have you guys ever made roses out of rolled orange slices (the candy, that is)? I tried it this weekend, since Granny loves them, and they were awesome. I don't have any pics, but I used the fondant cutters to make the petals and leaves, then dusted everything with sugar when finished. Makes me want to buy the gumdrops and make colored roses.
