I have a very strict rule about not eating the cake I make. I have my hubby taste test for me. He still hasnt lost his baby weight from my pregnancy over a year ago. I dont help feeding him cake all the time!

I'm still struggling with my baby weight (& she's over 13 mos. icon_rolleyes.gif ) I don't even really love sweets...I just can't stand to see things wasted...I made a cake the other night and had at least 2 cups BC leftover...no cakes in the near future so I HAD to eat at least half of it!!

Heres my little story. I used to nibble on cake as I cut the orders for the day (retail-25-30 cakes a day) and I did not realize just how much I was eating every morning untill I suddenly wondered just how much cake I had been eating. icon_redface.gif SO, for a couple days every time I was going to put a chunk in my mouth I set it aside in a little pile. To my shock I had/would have eaten an entire 1/4 sheet. icon_cry.gif

I now keep it in check but it is a daily challenge. Don't let it become a problem from the beginning. It's harder to quit icon_biggrin.gif

Great responses. I guess I'll just have to be very aware of "tasting".

I havent gained any that I know of. I have lost because I worked on losing lol. I have worked around cake and icing so much that I don't want it. I don't taste it either normally.

no weight gained here b/c i'm very cautious when it comes to eating "junk food" and plus with all the icing the smell gets old and less appitizing. but i do crave some if i haven't done a cake for a couple of weeks.

ljudd1969 .. has your husband also been doing your laundry and drying all of your clothes too long??? ha, ha. lol. icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

I started my hobby a year ago and have not been able to lose my baby weight.. (28 lbs). Last time i lost it soo easily! Eating cake, icing, tops and sampling has not helped my cause. It was getting so bad.. that I turned to the new weight loss Alli pills. 10 lbs lost since 7/12 !!! Yeah!!!
