Okay, so I made my daughter's cake for her 16th b-day party. We held the party at a really cool restaurant where the chef has just signed on with the Food Network for shows that will be airing next year. He also just filmed an episode with Anna Olsen (Sugar) which will air sometime in October/November. The owner of the restaurant came to me and asked where I got the cake from. Their pastry chef (who was cutting the cake in the back) was really impressed with the cake and wanted to know. The owner thought I was joking when I told him I made it. He laughed and asked if I wanted to work there. I will post a pic soon.

Okay, let me clear something up.....this is only the 2nd cake I made. The 1st is posted in my photos. I would never accept such a position. I have no training whatsoever. I did however email the restaurant and said I would accept the odd cake order. I'm still not sure about that either.....
