I know this may sound silly but I don't use parchment paper hardly at all and all I have in the house is the parchment triangles. I want to make the NFSC and do as it says about rolling them between two pieces of parchment paper but can I use wax paper and have the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I prefer the parchement cause nothing sticks to it, even when I want it to. I do use wax paper in a pinch but don't really care for it. Lots of people on CC swear by it, maybe they use a better brand of wax paper than I do.

Wax paper has a tendancy to tear when rolling dough between the sheets. Parchment is designed for durability, for baking on and rolling. It does not stick like wax paper. I use parchment almost exclusively. I suppose if that is all you have just go easy on the rolling so it won't fall apart on you.

Thanks you guys! I've got to go to Walmart anyway so I guess I will buy some parchment paper.
