I am doing a cake for a lady i take care of great grandson can anyone give me an idea on how to make trees to put on the cake. I will be doing the cake tonight a would really appreciate any suggestions.

Glad to see that you are enjoying yourself!
If you want to make pine trees, take a sugar ice cream cone (the pointy kind) and use the grass tip and decorate on that. Or you can also use the star tips

I made cute trees for my neice's b-day cake using colorflow. Very simple and they dried quickly.

Thanks guys i used the cone and grass tip and they came out nice i will post a pic. soon

For palm trees I have used pretzal rods and used a leaf tip. Simple and quick! icon_biggrin.gif

The cake is too cute! Are those cookie crumbs for the 'dirt' ?
