Cake Ideas For Family Of Pastors

Need ideas for a free cake that I'd like to donate to a family of Christian, Italian pastors (males and females). I've got a few ideas floating around, but I thought I'd see what everyone else came up with. You can take a look at my cakes if you like. I haven't been doing this too long, but I am getting better. I'm not ready for anything too extravagant yet. Thanks in advance for any input.
What is the occasion? Just to encourage them? I would say maybe just a simple cake with lovely darker colors like greens and browns (nice for men and women). Another neat thing would be to make a globe (wonderball pan) on top of a sheet cake. Pipe the verse, " Go ye therefore unto all nations..."

The occasion is that they are all preaching together at one church, one day only. They each pastor different churches, so you usually don't see them all together.
how about a sheet cake with a stain glass window type design? outline in black and fill in with piping gel? The design could be anything from a cross or a copy of a window in the church.... I've seen a few of these done at easter and they're always so lovely ![]()
how many are there ?
2 male and 2 female, actually it's a mom and 3 adult children
The open book pan would be nice and as someone suggested the stained glass window look could go on one side and a Bible Verse on the other side.
You don't have to do something with a church theme! Pastors are just like us in that they have hobbies and interests and great personalities! Is there something about this family that stands out? Or is the Italian part something they are proud of? Go with something like that.
Thanks for all of your suggestions. I wanted to let everyone know that I didn't even make a cake. My kids weren't feeling well so I ended up not even seeing the pastors speak this weekend. I guess I'll just do a cake for Christmas. By the way, yes they are very proud of their Italian heritage. I do like the idea of the stained glass cake, as well as, something that showcases their heritage or hobbies. I wanted to post a follow up, because I hate when I'm giving suggestions and I keep waiting to see the cake that we were all making suggestions on and the member never follows up or shows us the cake. Thanks again.
