How much of a difference do Magic Line pans make. I own all Wilton pans and my cakes always seem (for lack of a better word) bubbly
I am considering switching to Magic Line pans if it is really worth it, but I would like some CC opinions first.
TIA
Jen
Big difference! I am slowly replacing all my Wilton pans to Magic Line. I love them. The square cakes come out with perfect edges. I haven't used their round ones yet, but I just placed an order for a few today.
I really like the Wilton Professional pans (square) They have the lips just like the Magic line but are very cheaper. They work wonderfully too.
I have only Wilton pans. I like the ones that are not slanted on the sides. The ones that nestle bug me because you can't get really even sides. When I replace them, I will probably go magic line.
I don't think that the bubbling has to do with the pans...but I can't help you as to why.

Hands down, Magic Line are the best. If your not sure I would suggest buying one pan to try out, you will absolutely love it!!!
I have some of Wiltons Decorator Preferred Pans and they are good too, but Magic Line is still at the top of my list.
Night and day! Magic Line are made with a heavier guage steel. For the longest while I had one 8" wilton pan and one 8" Magic Line. The wilton cake was always much darker and crustier than the Magic Line layer. Pfeil & Holing pans at cakedeco.com are also very good.
Magic Line all the way. Wilton pans are just too lightweight. You'll definitely see a difference.
I am another Magic Line pan. I didnt' understand what all the fuss was about until I bought my first one. After the first pan I had I was hooked and have replaced all my round and square wilton pans that I had. I just wish Magic Line made the petal/heart/hexagon pans too! I would so get the sets from them.
My friend liked it though I gave all of my wilton pans to her. I think the only thing I have left is a 11xsomething or other that i use to form my rice crispies in when my ML are being used (and I can cut in it without caring about the cut marks!)
