Hello all I want to use the diamond impression mat, and was wondering if it's ok to use with the buttercreme icing. Never worked with it and need a little feed back from you guys and girls. Finished all wilton classes and just trying to be the best i can be. I still suck in the bc flowers, but i guess I just has to keep at it.
Thanks

Lillian

I'm pretty sure you can use that with crusting Bc and very gentle pressure

The consistency in the pressure you apply will matter how your pattern will come out. If you are unsure, apply a coat of B/C on some wax paper or parchment, about the same as you would on a cake. Allow it too crust, and then put your mat on the top, apply even smooth pressure with a fondant smoother or icing spatula, or your hand. lift straight out carefully so that you don't smudge your design.
