I agree about Toba's book. So much great information and ideas. Another I like is Autumn Carpenter's. Her family has run Country Kitchen Sweetart for 40 years. Again, lots of information and ideas. The book would well be worth double the price, IMHO.

Creative Cookies: Delicious Decorating for Any Occasion by Toba Garrett, $12.95, pbk, Sterling, 3/05, ISBN: 1402722524.

I recenlty purchase Toba Garrets and also love it! Can't wait to try it!

I also have Pretty Party Cakes by Peggy Porschen which has a nice section on cookies.

Ihave found a lot of useful information and inspiration from the booklets by Autumn Carpenter. They aren't super-pricey, but I liked them better, actually, than the Toba Garrett book I got at the library!

I liked the Flour Pot Cookie Book, but I also liked the book by Meaghan Mountford (Cookie Sensations: Creative Designs for Every Occasion).
