Rolling Pin?

I need your in put on what is the best rolling pin? or does it matter? I found a new one on Kitchen Kraft > it is an Adjustable rolling Pin. Think it will work. Please help. I am new at working with Cookies. I just want to make sure the thickness is the same.

I have the "smart" rolling pin from countrykitchensa.com I just love it!! icon_biggrin.gif

That's the one I use, too (smart rolling pin). I wouldn't go back. It makes it so much easier.

I use my Wilton roller for everything and works great for me, very inexpensive and I love it! Now they sell the rubber bands to calculate thickness.

But I need to hear from those who have it, how you like it. I saw a nice one (for about 195.00!!! icon_eek.gif ), maybe someday when I am a millionaire and am providing cakes and cookies for all the Oscar parties, but for now I have my old school pin and my 1/8 & 1/4 inch dowels...lol.

Another option is to just use your regular rolling pin with dowel rods on either side of your dough.
