What exactly are "sanding sugars"??? Are they like the luster dust or more like sugar sprinkles??? Just curious!! icon_confused.gif

i 'think' they are like sugar sprinkles--i know they are not anything like luster

Yes, they are coarse granulated sugars that are different colors. I bought some a few months ago. I like them, but I like cake sparkles/edible glitter more.

yes, but "sanding sugars" are not exactly coarse sugars ... they are named that way because they are fairly fine colored sugars ... like sand.

great on decorated cookies and much finer than the stuff you buy in the grocery store. the colors are much more sophisticated, too.
