Hi all -
I just made a batch of Toba's fondant and I like the taste better than MMF. Any suggestions on alternative flavorings? I used vanilla and butter - wanted to use the van/butter/nut but it's red and I need white fondant. Also - is this supposed to go in the fridge. At the top of the recipe it says not to put it in the fridge but the recipe says to put it in the fridge. I'm confused.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I've never made it, but I wouldn't think it would have to be refrigerated.
You can add any flavor to fondant. I use candy flavoring all the time in my MMF. My favorite is caramel.

I also made Toba's fondant for the first time yesterday. I love it. It came out so smooth and white. I used almond extract in mine.

I don't know why this recipe says that it has to be refrigerated, but it's the same recipe as Collette's and hers doesn't say that it has to be refrigerated, and I make hers and I've never put it in the fridge!

I have not seen Toba's version of fondant. Could you link me to it? Thanks. I'm new at this!
