Yep, that's for sure. Idaho = cheap in pretty much everything. My husband served his mission up there and he told me that you can rent a 4 bedroom house for 350 a month in one town he lived in. And it was a NICE house. Of course, the income for the area is comparable.

I agree tirby, it certainly depends where you are living. Boise is pretty expensive, given the wages are not that high. My daughter rents a one bed. apt for 610 and my niece rents a 3 bedroom house for 900. I have no idea where in Idaho you could rent a house for 350. I want to move there, lol. We won't even get into the rent in the Ketchum area, yikes! Thanks ellepal for sharing that site. It is fun to see Idaho decorators. They are very good and should charge more.
peterlori1, I am up in Lewiston. We are purchasing a 3 bedroom house for 606. Thats taxes and Ins. included. Around here it is reasonable. In Orofino where we use to live rent was 450 for a 3 bedroom house but wages were not the best. If you can get into Potlatch mill or ATK. This is a GREAT area. Or you are a special tradesmen. like electrician..... Any way sorry to take over your post!
tirby, I had no idea that Lewiston was that reasonable. Southern Idaho has gotten ridiculous. A lot of Californians have moved here and driven the price of housing way up. No offense to any Californians! We have gotten a bit off the subject of cakes, sorry.
WE have a Maribelle Cakery right here in Tucson. Their cakes are gorgeous!!
