I was just wondering if any of you have ideas or tips for making some creative cake stands or separators. I really like the idea of using glass blocks as I have seen on here and thought you might have other ideas to share. Thanks!

I always hit the Dollar stores, and Good will, etc. and find attractive plant stands and large candle holders.... they make GREAT cake stands and are really sturdy....

I think you were right, Amy..... Making cake stands out of things OTHER than using a regular cake stand....

I like these fabric covered styrofoam stands by Earlene. They are very easy to make if you know how to sew.

Thanks everyone. Earlene's cake boards are pretty and you are right they shouldn't be too hard to make. Thanks for the link amy78. That is beautiful! I only wish I could do something like that! icon_eek.gif Anyone with anymore interesting ideas they care to share?
