Hi All,

Im looking for ideas for back to school idea/theme for either a cake or cupcakes for elementary school kids - about 30 kids in the class.

Any help would be appreciated.

I love the chalkboard cakes that CCer's have done (search "chalkboard"). Can't wait to do one myself!

For something simpler, you could do apple cupcakes.

sheet cake with a chalkboard look to it saying welcom back, maybe a fondant eraser and a piece of chalk and ruler?

it u search the galleries there are loads of ideas... you could do a chalkboard or some books or even a backpack.... if for kids how about cupcakes.... you could put their names on them or something

I used this idea from KlyKat for my granson kindergarten graduation, I changed the design of the school alittle bit and added some crayons and pencils to give my own touch to it. But you could do something like this and put Welcome Back on it.
