luster dust in an air brush? I assume you mix it with the same liquid you do when you're painting with it just don't know how to mix. I just got an air brush from ebay and I'm anxious to try it out. icon_lol.gif

Hi,
I am not an Air Brush user because I do not own one..
I don't think I want one, but I think you need to use
like "ink" type of color.. not dry like the lustre dust unless
you mix it with some liquid. icon_smile.gif

I don't think that would work. The liquid goes through a very small needle before going onto the cake. I do believe it would get clogged.

OH, well. One of my instuctors said he did it. I guess I'll just have to find him and ask if I heard him right. detective.gif

When I airbrush with luster dust I mix it with everclear. If you can't get everclear where you live you can use vodka or gin. I mix it with a good amount of the everclear. Like a tablespoon or two with a small amount of dust. You want to make sure you have a thin mixture and no clumps.

When you get done, remember to clean the airbrush so the dust doesn't dry in there. icon_smile.gif
