Upside Down Method.....wax Paper

Funny you should ask....I did a sort of experiment today, because I was wondering the same thing. I did the method with both wax and parchment paper and the parchment paper was much better! I had a hard time pulling the wax paper off without it pulling on the icing and it made holes in the top. The parchment paper didn't do that at all. I was actually amazed by how well it (the parchment) did work.
Thanks so much! I guess I'll try it tomorrow. That is not the answer I wanted.
I wanted to try it now, now, now.

I'm sorry!! Don't you just hate it when that happens?
I used the only parchment I had---from Wilton. I'm assuming that's not silicon coated. (I used the last of my parchment, so I can't check the box )
I think the Wiltons is silicon coated. I have like 4 boxes of it because I always forget I have abox. So unorganized.
thanks so much for the tips. Going out in the am will get parchment-shpuld it be silicone coated?
