Have you ever noticed that you end up making way more plain chocolate and vanilla cakes than you'd really like to? Well, at least I do. It seems that when people order cake that's what they want.

Well not this time! I've FINALLY been handed the ball and told to make anything I wanted, but now so many of the things I've wanted to make are all trying to come out of my head at once. I might die!

"No coffee or mocha" is the only rule I got, which is fine with me because I've been in a fruit mood lately anyway icon_wink.gif . So at first I thought coconut cake with banana filling. Then I thought pineapple might sound good somehow.. THEN I passed the caramel apple dip in the produce aisle and thought AHA, I'll make caramel cake with spiced apple pie filling.

Then everything went numb and foggy and now I have no idea what I want to do! That's where you guys come in. icon_biggrin.gif

What sounds good, caramel cake with apple pie filling, or some combination of coconut/banana/pineapple?

You're moving into fall. You'll be able to do the apple ones through November/December.
I'd go for the tropical one while the weather is good.

Ahh good point 7yyrt.. And everyone's suggestions all sound good! I thought about mango also, I just need to make sure the girl likes it before I go doing it lol. I think coconut cake is a go and now I just have to decide what to put in it. icon_smile.gif
