Has anyone done tulips before? I pulled one apart to make a template for my Mum's birthday cake, just had trouble putting them together as I'm not sure how to dry the petals so that they are all the same shape and fit together.
I opened mine out because they have really cool centres anyway so it didn't matter, but just wondering how they are supposed to be done.
Any secrets out there?

You've done a really lovely job - they look so elegant! Love the colour. thumbs_up.gif Only one suggestion. When you are putting it all together, space the first 3 petals evenly around the centre. Then place the next three petals behind them, in the gaps left between the first 3 - you will get a more natural look. Keep up the good work! icon_biggrin.gif

I think your tulips are really pretty. Would you mind telling me how you colored them.
Thanks Lilybird
