Good morning all!

I am hoping to find the name of a heavy duty cake level. I know I've read in a previous forum posting about a cake level. Seems like it started with a "A", but just can't remember!

I have a 7 layer torted wedding cake to do in October and am extremely concerned about trying to use my Wilton cake level. I have problems getting even cuts when using it.

Thanks so much!

I just got one and let me tell you, you will be able to tort your cake as thin as you want. This is the BEST tool a baker can have!

I don't know if you'd be interested in this but I just made a 1/2 sheet cake & did not have a cake level large enough for it. In a pinch, I remembered reading a post where someone used dental floss. I tried it and it worked! It's so much faster and then I just tossed it away, no cleanup.
