I made the martha stewart imbc and it is soooooo soupy! Can I just put it in the fridge before I frost?? Help my cc friends. What did I do wrong?
It sounds like you didn't beat it long enough. It should be soft, but not soupy. You have to beat it and beat it until it starts to thicken and comes together. It should be about the consistency of soft-peak whipped cream.
All is not lost. Put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes, then try beating it some more. Give it as much as 10 minutes.
