It works!! I used it in my MMF I made today and wow, it was so fragrant and it did not change the texture of the MMF at all. I used Hazelnut coffee creamer.

I added it to the MM once they came out of the micro, while still hot, as I was stirring the MM to get all the lumps out. Then I whipped it up in the KA and it all mixed in nicely.

Question to those of you who have used it in BC. Does it cream up nicely? I put some in for a cake due Sat. and it was very grainy. I sure hope it blends or disintegrates into the BC!! Please let me know. Thanks!!

I've never put it into BC before, but a post not too long ago (last week?) said it made theirs waaaay too sweet. I tried the vanilla caramel for the first time in my cake batter today and it was wonderful!

I remember a few weeks back that someone stated they put LIQUID Coffeemate in the buttercream instead of milk/water.

OH no! I used powdered in the BC!! icon_mad.gif I should have paid more attention to that! I wonder if I can salvage it....

Cocorum21, I used 2 TBSP of powdered hazelnut coffee creamer to the hot marshmallow and stirred well before adding the powdered sugar. I whipped it up good in the KA with the paddle attachment, then started adding my powdered sugar.

Thanks Cowdex for that clarification! icon_smile.gif I will definitely do that next time.

I'm making MMF this morning and would like to try this. How much did you add to the marshmallows?

I tried the Vanilla caramel POWDERED in my WBH House Buttercream and it wasn't grainy at all. I added it when I added the powdered sugar and it was very good.

I made it with 2 TBSP powdered creamer right after it came out of the microwave.

icon_cry.gif I have to make a new batch of BC because it stayed gritty and I tried to melt the BC to see if I could fix it, but nope, should have read the thread better! Thanks Wendy!

I'm trying again tomorrow morning and cross my fingers... icon_rolleyes.gif

How much did you use? I tried the hazelnut coffeemate with batter and BC and it was subtle- you almost didnt taste it till the end...

Hmm... not sure why mine was grainy, but it was! icon_sad.gif I re-made it this morning using hot water to mix the powdered caramel in and it was just fine. It doesn't seem as strong, but it's very nice. I put 3 tbsp. in about 2 1/2 cups of BC and used it to torte my chocolate cake. My very first customer, since almost finishing the Wilton courses will come and pick it up tonight. I'll find out tomorrow how it was!
