I think it's a great idea! I love to make bar-type desserts. They are so versatile, easy to transport and serve! I'm in...anybody else?

Every christmas I give my close friends a goodie basket. Or actually a box of goodies. And now that I have been doing cakes I think they are going to expect something more. So I guess I am in. I need new ideas icon_biggrin.gif And I always am willing to share. icon_biggrin.gif

That's okay by me! Just keep in mind you might have to do a lot of converting for our recipes as well. I have noticed that my liquid measuring cup reads not only in cups and ounces, but also in mL! But how are the dry ingredients measured? Is that in grams? Will have to look for me a good scale! (Should get one anyway, I have been wanting one for a while!)

I bought a Debbie Brown cake decorating book from someone in the UK and was able to do a currency conversion online while I was bidding. Does anyone know if there is a website with a recipe conversion chart? I collect recipe books and have some with fascinating recipes, including the DB book. I would love to give them a try!

EDITED TO SAY: dunce.gif ...Duh! Answered my own question...there are lots of online sites to do recipe conversions! Here is a link to a great one that all you have to do is type in your measurement and it converts it for you: http://www.chefdecuisine.com/chef/converscal.asp

But I can't get the site to work there, may be bc I'm on a mac.

In case you ever wondered how many tablespoons of cinnamon are in a cubic yard! LOL
