I don't think that cheesecake is strong enough. the dowels would probably only make it more poreous (sp). and crack it. too bad. If you try it and it works out though- let me know!

They can be stacked. If you frost with whitechocolate cream cheese buttercream, you will never know it is a cheese cake. Stack exactly the same as a regular cake but it must stay refrigerated as long as possible. I use straws as dowels and have transported them stacked. Caution: inform your brides that when they cut the cake, it will not look pretty. It is not possible to get a nice slice of a cheesecake if it has even been out for an hour. It still tastes great but looks like a little puddle on the plate
