Hi there,

I need some help from you billingual cc'ers, those of you who speak spanish. I just checked out this wonderful book from the library called tortas decoradas its a book of beautiful disney cakes, but even though i do speak spanish i don't know what these ingredients are.. my technical spanish is not very good... could you please help me???


what is: (im going to put my guesses in parentheses)

acido acetico
glase real (royal icing?)
fondant extendido (extended fondant???)
pasta de goma (sugarpaste?)
mazapan (marzipan?)
azucar molida (sugar, but don't know which)
harina leudante (flour - but don't know leudante)
palito de brochette (skewer?)
esteca


I would really appreciate your help

But this is what I got in the translator..lol:
acetic acid
real glaze
fondant extended
Pasta of gum
marzipan
sugar ground
flour leudante
ice lolly of brochette
esteca

someone else is going to have to take you the remainder of the way home! lol

Wow! I speak spanish and I agree those are hard.
I know that leudante is "self-rising"

Anyone else?

glase real: ROYAL ICING
fondant extendido : ROLLED FONDANT
pasta de goma: GUMPASTE
azucar molida : GRANULATED SUGAR, REGULAR SUGAR
harina leudante: SELF RISING FLOUR
palito de brochette: SKEWER
mazapan: MARZIPAN
esteca: CONFECTIONARY TOOL, ESTECA

All those ingredientes bring so many memories to me of when I started at 13 years old to decorate cakes!!
