Poured Fondant Question

I just made a batch of the poured fondant and when it sets up its smooth but the texture is sort of crystallized...is this how its supposed to be or did i do something wrong??? I'd love any advice!!!

Thanks for the bump! I actually made a new batch and realized I heated my 1st batch way too much! 2 nd batch was dead on though! Thanks!
