I have bought the wrdf before for my course one cakes to frost the cake and it would crust . now when i bought it the other day and used it on my cakes it wouldnt crust and it alomst seemed melty. Does any one know why?

If it's the same 1lb, it's weird that's happening. I only notice this happens when i buy the bigger tub of ready to using icing, i think it's 5 + lbs. That one is much, much softer. Did you take it out of the tub, mix color? or whipped it a bit? that will change the consistency too. Or maybe it was exposed to heat.
