Sam's buttercream lasts? I just got my shipment of cake dummies, and I know Sam's sells it by the tub at a good price, so I was thinking about using it for the dummies (especially since butter costs so much right now!).
Also do you keep it in the fridge or at room temp?

Thanks in advance!

I bought mine on 6/30 and the expiration date on the tub isn't until October. The clerk at Sams said it was good for at least 6 months usually. Just store it at room temperature (between 70 and 80 degrees).

I paid $27 for mine.

Great! Thanks so much for your replies! It's about $27 here too (NY Hudson Valley). I've only priced it, not purchased it yet. 6 months is not bad at all.

okieinalaska, its buttercream that you can get from Sam's club bakery. It's the same kind they use on their cakes and they'll sell it to you by the tub.

Thanks again everybody!
