Hi,
I am new here and new to cake decorating too. I am probably being really dim here but can somebody tell me how to add photo's I'd like to save to my ' my photo's' please ?

First of all, welcome to CC!!!
If you're wanting to upload your own photos, go to the gallery section and there's a tab at the top that says "upload photo". It will lead you through the process and your photo will show up in the My Photos section.
If you're wanting to save other people's photos into your favorites, there is a thing underneath the photo when you're viewing it that says "Add to Favorites" and it will put the picture into the "My Favorite Photos" section.
Hi, to add your own photos into the gallery or "MY PHOTOS" :
Click: Galleries
Click: UPLOAD PICTURE
Click: Choose Album
Click: Browse
Double clik on the picture that you want to add.
Then SUBMIT
Adding "MY FAVORITE PHOTOS" is a different process.
Are you talking about your cakes, or other peoples cakes ?
If it is your cakes, look for upload picture, give all of the info., then submit, and then your cake pictures, goes into your photo's.
If it is other peoples cakes that you like and would like to save, look at the picture, under it , you will see where to add to favorites, then it will be added to your favorite catagory.

Click on my photos in the far left column, then click on upload pictures, then scroll down and choose an album appropriate for your photo. Click the browse button and it should bring up your photos from your own computer, pick the one you want and give it a description then there's abutton at the very bottom that says "add" or "upload"...something like that I can't remember exactly. That should work...If it doesn't post again or send me a private message and I'll try to help you, if not I know someone who can. I'm new also and I was having trouble figuring it out as well...
how about how do you add a pic to a forum discussion ??

It's other people's pics I wanted to save for inspiration, you are all so talented. I am like I said a newbie to cake decorating, I started a cake decorating and sugarcraft course at my local college the other evening, so I have been reading the forums and articles on here after finding this site by accident. Although I don't know when I'll get much time at home to practice with a newborn
