I Need Some Help

I have a customer that wants the following as a cake filling. My question is would this need to be refridgerated or can it stay at room temp


karo syrup
brown sugar
creamy peanut butter
rice krispies
margarin heavy cream
semi sweet chocolate chips

I would think it needs to be refrigerated because of the heavy cream. If not for that it would be fine.

I would think so, if it has any dairy. Margarine will also separate or melt if not kept at proper temperatures.

Ganache uses heavy whipping cream in it and it's fine setting out after it's been cooked and cooled, so I'd say if you are cooking all of these things together then it would not need to be refrigerated.
