Does anyone know how long white chocolate paste will last (and still be usable) in an airtight container? My friend is due to have twins soon and I want to have everything ready to go to make my cake to bring to the hospital with me. Thanks!

I usually freeze fondant and gumpaste. Then I let it sit out over-night to come to room temperature. It usually lasts several weeks anyway. I frozen and re-frozen both several times with no ill effects.

Good luck to you and the new mom.

Great, that is what I was hoping for. I think I am going to make it this week!
