Hi everyone,
This is my first visit to the forum, so hope I'm doing this correct!
I am making a stacked presents wedding cake and the bride wants the bow on top to be claret (dark red) fondant. I have only used ready-made fondant, so I have no idea if I can even buy this color or how I would go about making it. Anything in red seems to always be a bit of a pain.

Satin Ice makes a red fondant and I think it would be easier to start from that and just get it darker than to start out with whit and try to get a dark red. I hope this helps
