Hi Everyone,

I was asked to to a Chicka Chicka Boom boom Cake. If you have read the childrens book, would you have any ideas/pictures on doing this type of cake? I am having a mental block. All I can think of is the tree and coconuts not very creative for a 3 yr olds b day party.

My son Loves that book. Are you looking for 3D or like a FBCT? For 3D you could do a palm tree with some MMF letters hanging out of it. Or a FBCT of the cover of the book. Sorry not much help, I'm sure you'll get better ideas I seem to be blocked myself.

I have actually seen a cake made for that book. It was pretty much what Rambo said. A coconut tree in the middle with letters falling off it. Sorry I can't be more help.

These are the colors I would (will) use. Thanks for the idea! This is the theme for my daughter's class, and I have been wanting to make snacks for them.

I saw a Wilton cake pan at a store once shaped like a palm tree. DOn't know if that helps.

How many is it for? You could do like a 2 tiered, and have a coconut tree molded out of fondant on the top, and all the letters spilling over the sides fo the cake.
