Cake Ball Question!!!

I am making Cake Balls for the first time tonight and I was wondering if its ok to mix the flavors of scrap cakes...Can I mix my scraps of red velvet and vanilla cakes??? or would that be gross?

red velvet basicly taste like a choc;. right? I think it would be fine. I mix choc;. and french vanilla all the time and add in some cocoa powder.

Ok they ARE A HIT!!!!!!! My DH and kids LOVED them and I brought them to work this morning and they have been devoured!!!! THANKS SOOO MUCH TO WHOEVER CREATED THE RECIPE!!!!!!!!
