Hi! I'm a newbie. I just finished my second class of course one at Michael's for the Wilton Class. We got to choose our own decoration and my son being a Pokemon fanatic chose Pikachu. We didn't learn how to do a shell border so my bottom/base is naked! And it tasted delicious - lemon cake with lemon filling and buttercreme icing!

Thanks for the great compliments on my Pikachu. I used a Viva paper towel and fondant smoother to smooth my icing. I read about that online and my instructor demo'd it at our first class. I was sold. I felt like I was ironing my cake! LOL But it did work wonders. I didn't do a crumb coating first and was stressing out getting my cake flat and level!
