My mom just bought me a KA (Artisan) for $135.00 icon_eek.gif .

The Robinsons May store near her home had a "store closing" sale and got it for 50% off.

Then yesterday I had a coupon from Michael's for 50% off any reg. priced item and got the new Chocolate Pro Melting pot by Wilton.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Had to share. No one else around me understands my obsession.

Isn't that SO annoying when the people around you look at you funny when you get excited about a decorating tool? Apparently they just don't get the same rush. I just don't understand it!! icon_smile.gif

Wow! What a nice mom. Don't you love getting new items? It makes you want to make a cake just so you can try them.

Nothing better then getting something fun and saving money at the same time.

Have fun with them.

Joanne

Yes! My husband thinks I belong in the looney bin because I'm fascinated with this website.

I tell him, think about this website being my "football games" icon_twisted.gif

Every now and then they send me one in the mail and I know that on Sunday I can pick one up in the Los Angeles Times.

Then I call my sister and tell her to pick one up for me and my boss another. I have 4 so far.

off to get on their mailing list!!

This past Sunday's paper had a 40% off at Hobby Lobby. I tried to go get something but my oldest little darling started being cranky(I swear my hubby put him up to it--lol) so we came home.

Oh well!!!!! I will go again w/o the darlins!

Oh, you KNOW we understand your obsession icon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gificon_lol.gificon_biggrin.gif

Congrats on the new mixer and the new Wilton thing!

I used my Michaels 50% off coupon the first day I had it, and I printed FOUR Hobby Lobby coupons (40% off) for this week off their site on the internet. I live 2 minutes from HL and about 5 from Michaels and you can use a coupon a day, so......geez, I better print off four more coupons. LOL

Well, I've been busy but normally when I have 4 or 5 coupons for the same week, I go to 4 or 5 different Michaels one after the other.... tee hee hee.

I don't even care that I sometimes waste 1/2 tank of gas on my special "trip" as long as I get the goodies. icon_twisted.gificon_twisted.gificon_twisted.gif

I also had Jo-Anne coupons but the one near my home doesn't have "cake deco" stuff so I don't bother.

Just in cake you didn't know...Michael's will accept Hobby Lobby and Joanne's coupons as long as they are the original coupons from the paper or a mailer. They will not accept coupons copied or printed from the internet.

And in case they aren't sure how to ring this up, tell them they have to ring in the discount right after the item you're using it on and the code is "7". They will look at you like you're crazy. I get a kick out this. icon_razz.gif

icon_redface.gif I just went back and read my post and saw that I wrote "just in cake" instead of "just in case". Too funny!

Hope this helps,
Yvette

Congrats, i bet your going nuts baking just to try out the mixer. My family is just as mystified as to why i get so excited by kitchen gadgets and appliances, i was soo happy when my hubby got me a bunch of cake books for our anniversary last week, and my mom bought me one of those adjustable measuring spoons, LOVE IT!!! Aren't mommy's great (even when we're older they still spoil us). Enjoy your new KA!! icon_smile.gif

itsloops you dont have to go to different michaels, my michaels lets me use more than 1 coupon if i ring up the items separately, i just say i'm getting it for someone if they ask. they dont ever ask though. i'm sure if you go in with 4 they might but i've used 2 with no problem.

lonestarstamper i thought you meant to do that. "just in cake". LOL

debbie2881,
I tried that one time and they told me "1 per Customer"

So to avaoid a hassle and holding up the line, I just make trips. I have 2 michaels near my home (5 minutes) or I just go to the same one on different days depending on how soon I need something.

Yesterday I got the 2007 yearbook. I'm not sure I'm happy with it though.

It seems almost alike to last years.

hmm they are not too nice at your store huh? I got the 2006 yearbook and there was just too many pages about products you can buy by wilton. I still kept it though for inspiration whenever i need some. I'll take a look at 2007 when i visit michaels tomorrow.
