Ka Gone Wild!!!

So, DH bought me a 6 qt pro for Chjristmas last year(he's the best)....so it's only a few months old....
I was making BC...had it on # 2....very low. Then it stopped...by itself. Uh oh....
So, I turn the switch off.....then turn it on again to #2...it works alright....but at WARP speed.....on #2,4,6,8...whatever....it's all the same speed.


any suggestions before I contact KA?

Call KA--they will get you a new one to your door in a few days--I don't think they will offer a refund. If you desp need to bake and can't use it--ck your Lowes and see if they will sell you one off the shelves!

Sounds like a gear!

If it's still under warranty call KA and get a new one. I'm pretty sure I know what's wrong with yours, my old one did something like that, the speed regulator broke.

Thankfully...the warranty is for 1 year...I just sent KA an email. The freaky thing is that as I type, my DH is at Lowes purchasing another KA. I already have a second one but Lowes had such a good deal that I'm buying it as a potential gift. icon_biggrin.gif
