How much batter will it take to make an 11x15 sheet cake? I looked on the pan insert but it doesn't say how much batter or boxes of mix that it takes or how many servings the cake will make. Any input? Thanks.

I use two mixes (doctored but not extended) for the 11 x 15 and get a nice full cake...have fun!

usually an 11x15 takes 11 cups of batter. Each cake mix makes between 4.5-6 cups of batter. I always use two cake mixes and yes, some do make more than others. (it's always best to measure and be sure)
Good luck!

I use 3 box mixes for the 11x15. That's for vanilla cake. Now for choc & strawberry you can take out about 1 cup or so they seem to bake higher for me.
I always fill my pans 3/4 full. icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks guys. You know I emailed Wilton & asked that question (since it was their pan that I bought) but they linked me to the part of the website that has instructions for the novelty pans but none for sheet pans. Go figure...CC rocks!
