Baking First Cake Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have a 11 x 15 sheet cake pan that is 2in deep i am gonna bake my cake in...i am using 2 boxes of cake mix a packet of vanilla pudding mix and a extra egg and a cup of cake flour to it....so i was wondering how long do u cook the cake since its gonna be 2 boxes do u cook it for like a hr ...or what...

someone please help

I'd cook it for the same time it calls for on the box. It's in a bigger pan so it'll be spread out a little more. Check it after that time, you can always leave it in longer if you need to, but not much you can do if it's overcooked! thumbs_up.gif

Well, I always use 2 boxes of cake mix in my 11 x 15 pan and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 55 minutes. But, that is not to say that your oven won't bake hotter or cooler. I would set your timer for 50 minutes and start checking from there.

The cake pan should have had an insert in it that will tell you how long to cook and how much cake mix to put in it.
