It looks alright to me, but perhaps you could use straberry halves instead so the umbrellas (at least I think that's what I see) can stand out a bit better.

Since I'm very honest with my comments.....
I would have made the stem of the glass a little shorter and the bowl of the actual drink area bigger so it's not the same size as the bottom of the glass. It's really cute except it's too uniform in size, like a dumbbell not a glass. Decorations are great! Hope you don't mind my 2 cents.

Can you scale down the bottom without having to completely redoing the cake?
This cake is NOT ugly, by the way, it just needs a little tweaking.

If it were mine, I would place in the freeezer for about 15-10 minutes, then Put some wax paper the board and take a sharp knife and slim down the stem just a little to make it more sleek,( being careful NOT to cut into your foil board) then cut about a half inch off the bottom to make it more proportioned.
Then just re-ice the areas you trimmed.

I have looked at your photos, and your cakes are lovely. Just don't panic ( as we all have a temptation to do) and give your cake a final touch.

i think i might cut the base a little bit more and i am also going to redo the charm.. maybe a chocolate butterfly someting small and cute instead a big hunk of chocolate thats was not cute.. the stem really was to wide but i am beginning to feel awhole lot better.. i just wish people would comment more instead of peeping, which i am guilt of doing aslo, from now on if i look at a question message i will leave some kind of feedback even if its just a bump..because it is sad discouraging, when no one will help...and please do not read into what i just said.... anyway thanks guys for helping me out i really do feel so much better, thats y i love CC.....

I agree about trimming down the stem and making the base a little smaller. Depending on what look you're going for you could maybe make a slice of fruit to go over the edge rather than strawberries going down the front of the glass. Another idea would be to give it a look of coarse salt on the rim. Depends on the drink you're going for. I bet a person could really sell margarita cakes, with salt around the top.

I think your cake looks good and don't let your friend spoil your fun! Keep up the good work.

I think it looks a lot better, and I agree that since you cut down the base, the charm is oversized now. I can't wait to see the new charm! thumbs_up.gif

I agree with the scaling down the stem and bottom, other than that it looks great!
