Hi all,
does any one know where I can get or order molds for chess pieces? My honey is teaching our 4 year old grandson to play chess (he has been learning since he was 3). Loki (grandson) also likes to check out the cakes in gallery with me. He got so excited when he saw a cake that looked like a chessboard with all the pieces on it, in the grooms cake gallery. He insists that his grampa would just love a cake like that. I am pretty sure Loki would love it even more. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

check sugarcraft.com and if they dont then try the putty they sell on their site. You press your chess peices into the putty and make your own mold..one sided though...

thank you, I will. Never heard of the putty. I suppose you could do both sides the stick together. Will let you know how it works. Thanks again

Thank you so much. It is exactly what I wanted. The last two sites you recommended had the chess piece molds. greenhouse was less expensive. I will post pictures as soon as I get molds and start experimenting. Wish me luck!!

Do you have any pics yet that you can share?
I'm doing the same for my husbands 40th birthday and wondered if you had any tips/advice on the best medium to use. I thought of using chocolate but not sure...
