I've seen some really great cakes on here of the little blue and white robot. I always forget if he's R2D2 or C3PO. ......

I just did a search in the gallery, and there are tons of neat cakes in there: Yoda, Darth Vader, a really cool Chewbacca, etc.

Are you wanting to do a shaped cake or a sheet cake? If you are doing a sheet cake you could do a FBCT or Wilton makes a Darth Vader pan. Kidscolorpages.com has some good pictures. Or perhaps even do an R2D2 cake out of round cakes and a wondermold pan? Hope this helps icon_biggrin.gif .

I have only done one and I did a FBCT. There was so much black in Darth Vader that I outlined in gray. My 4-year-old granddaughter (yes, grandDAUGHTER) has already asked me for a Star Wars cake for her birthday in December. I think I will do either a FBCT or edible image plaques.
