I am making two heart cakes for the daughter of some dear friends.
I am doing it as a "FUN" gift so we can pick filling flavors. We are making choco and white. Filling choices are strawberry, whipped huckleberry, and to go with adding the brides to be favorite cookie when she was little (sentimental for the parents) Oreo Cookie.
They will just be tasting to see which filling to put in which cake. FUN, FUN, FUN!!! We will be at the party and it is not formal but nice.

So now for the question. What is approperiate to write on the cake?
Their names? Date set for wedding? Best wishes? Any help will be great.

I would probably put either Best Wishes ____ & ___ or Congratulations ___& ___ ..... Actually i think all the ones you suggested are fine and would work

I agree, the text you suggested is fine. But if you want to get fun you could also do something like "He Proposed and She Said Yes", "________ & _______ The Prefect Pair", "_____ & _____ are getting hictched" or "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue".
